Here at VIA - Community is one of our great passions. With Christ at its center, the VIA Campout is an incredible opportunity to grow deeper as a community. This summer, we're headed to a really special site out in Keefers, BC for a few days of adventure, camping under the stars and sharing life together in worship and the joy of deepening friendships.

Where will we be camping?

Keefers is located a beautiful 2.5hr drive north of Langley.  We'll spend the weekend nestled in the mountains and enjoying a beautiful property with plenty of space for conversation, adventure, and activities together.

We will be camping in tents and rvs - price included in your registration (note: no-power or water hookups).  

For those who are unable to stay in a tent or rv, we have arranged for a number of rental options only 5min from where we'll be gathering - available on a first come first serve basis:

  • 1 of 5 Bedrooms with a Queen Bed - $25/night 
  • 1 of 3 24' Trailers w power and water - $60/night
    • Trailer A - Queen Bed w convertible dinette
    • Trailer B - Queen Bed w bunk beds & a convertible dinette
    • Trailer C - 2 Double Beds

If you'd like to rent one of these accomidation options just email us.  Payment will happen between you and the owner of the property.

Campout Schedule
It's our desire to keep our campout weekend fairly unstructured with the desire to create lots of space to just enjoy each others company.  The following schedule is designed to give us a shared timeline that will help us maximize the opportunity to connect and enjoy this weekend together: 

Friday June 30

Saturday July 1

  • 10a     Worship and Teaching Session                        
      • Kids Adventure

      • Hang Out - Field games | board games | lake or river Time | Disc Golf | etc.
  • 5p        Dinner - Perogi and Polish Sausage Community Meal Provided    
  • 7p        Bonfire - Worship and Sharing
  • 10p      Canada Day Fireworks            

Sunday July 2            

  • 8a        Morning Prayer            
  •             Breakfast          
  • 10a      Eucharist Service      
  • 12p     Lunch - Mexican Community Feast Provided     
  • Afternoon                       
      • Hang Out - Lake Day!!
      • Field games | board games | lake or river Time | Disc Golf | etc.
  • 5p        Dinner           
  • 7p        Bonfire - Worship and Sharing 

Monday July 3            

  • 8a        Morning Prayer            
  •             Breakfast
  • 10a      Pack and clean up camp
  • 12p       Head Home

Important Details

  • This will be an alcohol free weekend
  • Dogs are welcome but must remain on leash at all times

Bring With You

  • Everything you need as a family to go camping : )
  • Shoes for outdoor activities like a small hike, field games, etc 
  • Bug spray & Sunscreen
  • Beach gear - we'll probably head down to the river, and may even decide to take a short drive to the lake at some point
  • Games, sports gear, etc 

Food and Cooking 

  • We'll aim to eat meals at the same time throughout the weekend, but each family will be responsible for their own food
    • *We will be providing two meals - Saturday Dinner & Sunday Lunch
  • There is a really great kitchen setup at Keefers where we can prepare and share meals together.  We'll be all set up with camp stoves, a bbq, and wash station that everyone is welcome to use.
  • Bring food, dishes, etc. 
  • Note: There is no electricity at the tent sites, so coolers, etc will be necessary to keep food
