Join us on Christmas Eve at 4 pm for a 90-minute service full of scripture, song, reflection, and celebration around the Lord's Table.
700 years before Jesus was born, God promised his birth and ministry in the words of prophets like Isaiah. Amid Israel's desolation in exile, Isaiah speaks with certainty the prophetic promise of God, declaring: "It shall come to pass." Isaiah 2.2 God's prophetic promise to those in exile in Isaiah's day also birthed messianic hope in the hearts of God's people. That hope was fulfilled in the incarnation of Jesus! John puts it this way:
"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1.14
Join us on Christmas Eve for a time of worship focused on the excellent news that God is faithful to His promises. It is our prayer that, in the words of the 19th-century carol O Holy Night, a thrill of hope would rise in our hearts as together we celebrate the Advent (coming) of Jesus in the incarnation over 200 years ago, his faithful advent in our daily lives, and his promise to come again in glory!
