ERA Kids

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14)

It's clear in Scripture how much Jesus loved and treasured children. At Emmaus Road, we believe that our kids and youth are vital members of our church today. We believe in them and want to see them grow into everything God has for them! Our aim is to teach our children who God is in Scripture, train them in what their identity is in Him, encourage them to pursue His presence in worship and prayer, empower them as Christ's ambassadors to a broken world, and welcome them wholeheartedly into, not only our community at Emmaus Road but the Church body: locally and globally.

We are excited to engage our kids in a meaningful way weekly as we gather.  During our Eucharist Services, our kids join with us in worship, and then head out midway through worship for a time of worship, prayer, and teaching designed specifically for them before returning to celebrate the Eucharist with us at the conclusion of the service.

During our Home Gatherings, we've put together interactive lessons that the kids can use to participate alongside what we're doing in the whole group.
