We love our kids! We are passionate about creating a safe, life giving, spirit filled experience for our kids. We take extra measures to make sure they are cared for well. This ranges from our implementation of the Safety, Response and Care Plan to ensuring our theology is firmly established in the word of God. We are looking for people with a heart of worship. It is vital that when part of this team you are committed to spending time in your own personal worship space in your daily life. When this is practiced, Sunday mornings become the overflow of worship from the entire team. We are always open to experienced musicians joining our team. We strive to lead our congregation in excellence and a sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Setting up the gym every Sunday morning is not just about putting chairs out, it is about creating a welcoming place for all to come and worship together. This space facilitates community and worship. This team gets to be a vital part of making that happen every week.

The sound tech team runs all the sound through the service. This includes setting up the stage, sound checking the band and making sure everything runs smoothly through the service. At Emmaus Road we highly value prayer. Prayer ministry is a tangible way we can stand with our congregation and engage with what God is doing in their lives. This team is full of compassion, and faith for how God will move if we pray. They work together to create a safe space for prayer that is full of hope.
Our goal at Emmaus Road is to serve and worship the Lord. The ministry of altar guild is important because the Eucharist is an integral part of our worship. The consecrated bread and wine represent to us– the presence of Christ– and so, these and the vessels that contain them, as well as the altar, are treated with reverence. It is beautiful to find love throughout the labour in this ministry.
