This week, our time together was spent in prayer for Willoughby.
We are planting a church, and one of the major marks of the church is that it is devoted to prayer. Jesus was devoted to prayer, and so it comes as no surprise when in Acts 2.42 we find that the early church could be defined as those who "devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." The early church was a praying church, and we are asking that God would too make us a praying church.
